Pink Wednesday: Wet N Wild How I Met Your Magenta and NYC Gramercy Glitz

That's a long title, huh? Haha. Okay, so Wet N Wild How I Met Your Magenta is from the new WNW fastrdry series. I'm just going to go ahead and say I HATE the brush. It's like a mop. Therefore I had a hell of a time controlling where the polish went, and how much got on the brush. This is a pretty pink - not my usual taste, but I was drawn in by the gold shimmer. It's not very prevalent on the nail. I don't think this is very magenta, either. It's more of a mid-toned bubblegum pink. Although this is not a jelly, I had VNL after three coats. Kind of weird.
To make this look a little cuter, I topped it off with NYC Gramercy Glitz, a milky pink sheer with metallic fine glitter.  The glitter is kind of glowy - almost holo, it gleams blue in some light. I love this. It kind of looks like sugar encrusted lollipops?? A very candy looking manicure. My ring finger, you can tell, bore the worst of the WNW polish, it's uneven because of the bad polish distribution.
I strangely love this, anyway. I think the pink may be a shade deeper IRL, for the record.

What are you wearing for Pink Wednesday?

  5. I guess WnW has a housecleaning theme going because the brush in the little bottles is like a broom. I end up doing cleanup to a degree I rarely have to fuss with, but I guess given the choice between a stupid skinny brush (hello, Revlon) and a big scrubby waddy brush, I'll tahe the big brush.
