Finger Paints Catwalk Queen

I know that this color will probably not be popular - in fact, it really doesn't even suit my skintone at all. But I love it. It goes into the uglyawesome file, and although I look at it on my nails and think why am I wearing this? - I also am strangely attracted to it. Unlike the funky yellow greens, I don't think this compliments me at all. No matter, I'll keep wearing this. And I know I'll find a way to play with it, I think it would make a great base for a plaid manicure, if I could ever master those.
This was not as easy to apply as the other colors I picked up from Finger Paints fall, but still smoothed out after a couple of coats. It was a tad thicker, but it finally laid down right and settled out. It's definitely a dijon mustard shade on me, predominantly yellow with a touch of brown and green.

Strangely fascinating or just ugly, y'all??

  1. I love colors like this and have this one as well. You're right, it would look amazing as a base for a plaid!
