Sinful Colors Oh La La

This is going to be a super quickie post. Oh La La is from the new Sinful Colors display, Beverly Hills. I'd like to call this a coral, but I think it leans just a bit too orange for that - maybe it's best described as a mid toned peachy orange. That sounds indecisive, right? Regardless, it's a lovely color, and application was smooth - two coats, a jelly creme.

I didn't do any layering with this, but I think it would look good with a nice layer of flakies over it, don't you? This is a really pretty color that I'm sure would be a crowd pleaser - it's not a bright screaming orange.

Revlon Just Tinted

Okay, so I saw a post on Nails Beautiqued about the pretty Revlon jellies, the Just Tinted polish, I had to go and snatch them all up. I'd seen the display - but I didn't know exactly what they were. I'd meant to pick up one and give it a try, but I hadn't yet - after that post, I bought them all! These are sheer jellies, folks. To get these opaque with no VNL - I don't even know what that would take. I used three coats for all of my swatches, and I have VNL in all four of these. Also - these dry semi matte! I've used top coat on all of these, because I like my jellies to be shiny. Obviously. They're SO SQUISHY and JUICY though. Oh gosh, I love these.
Okay, so the first one is Dawn - orangey-peach.

This next is Desire. Bright fun pink.

Mystical - darker, berry/wine.

Victorian - softer pink than Desire, leans slightly coral.

I *love* these. I have been making jelly sandwiches with them. Dear Revon: we need these in many, many shades. Please, thank you! I have only two complaints: Why did they make them semi-matte? And, secondly - they're a little streaky. Especially Mystical. Nothing I can't handle, though.
So, have you guys spied these out? Did you pick any up yet??

Pure Ice Twinkle

I haven't featured Pure Ice enough here. This color, Twinkle, is a cute rich peach! It's packed with beautiful gold shimmer that shows up nicely on the nail. I used two coats here. Oh HI big gap on my pinkie! Whoops. I'd definitely recommend clicking to enlarge these, but I did get a good macro!

This is much more flattering than that WNW peach I had two days ago (on me, anyway). And hey, it'll be June tomorrow! This year is flying by already.

Wet N Wild Sunburst

Hey, Andrea! Here's a color that DOESN'T LOOK GOOD ON ME. Okay, so Sunburst is from the Bloom collection - something that took forever to show up in my stores! As a matter of fact, it showed up the same time as the Mermaid Cove in my CVS.
I picked up three of these pastels. The first I've got to show you is the peach, and it's so cute in the bottle. I think it looks awful on me. This is a creme, and it took three coats to even out. These little bottles have tiny handles, but it wasn't hard to adjust to.

Yeahhh. Not so much! I'm sure this would look cute on someone else, but I immediately took it off.

Revlon Top Speed Polished

There's a newish display of Revlon Top Speeds that caught my eye recently, I picked up two and want to go back for a couple more. For the record, I've had good luck with my Top Speeds drying pretty quickly.
I'd dithered on this one - soft peaches can be gummy and thick, in my experience. Can I just say here that I'm SO glad I got this? It's AWESOME. I'd been wanting a squishy soft peach for so long. I could have achieved opacity at three coats, but I wanted to leave it a little translucent at two coats because I wanted to see if it would be a good base for a funky french. I think that's a yes, here. And, I don't find it boring. I've been craving this kind of shade, so I'm happy to have found it - and more relieved that I didn't pass it up.
As I said, two coats - I'm pretty convinced three would have made this fully opaque.

It's so clean, soft, and squishy looking! Yeah. Obviously, pretty work appropriate, too.
